Some health providers are trying a new approach - using frank, detailed videos describing advanced life-prolonging measures such as CPR and mechanical ventilators to help patients and their families make informed decisions.

According to the article, clinical trials using the videos have had an "overwhelmingly positive" response from patients and families, and the company producing the videos, Advanced Care Planning Decisions, can't keep up with the demand.
