Camp Catch UR Breath is designed for children ages 6-12 with asthma . At the camp, children will have fun, receive support from each other, and learn to manage their asthma while under the supervision of trained medical professionals.
Camp staff includes professionals who volunteer their time such as physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and health educators. We ensure that the instructions of each camper’s physician are followed. Parents can feel at ease knowing that their children are being supervised by medical professionals.
What will we do?
Our camp offers a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, group games, asthma education, swimming, and a variety of sports activities. Children participate in educational activities designed to help them better understand asthma. They will learn what can trigger an asthma episode, how to handle an asthma episode, and how their medications work. Campers will also gain support from one another on how to co-manage their asthma.
Space is limited. Please fill out and mail camp form by June 20.
